Highlights of this all-volunteer-operated Museum include:

The Museum Building itself — once a depot and substation for the Interurban Railway.

Car #8 - "Merlin" - an actual interurban car which once ran through Coopersville on the electric Grand Rapids, Grand Haven and Muskegon Railway (1902 - 1928). The car recently underwent exterior restoration and is beside the Museum building. The recent $5,000 Evans Memorial Award for Historical Preservation has allowed interior restoration to begin.
